I have a good subject, and I'd like to think of something creative, useful, something nice…

I could suggest whatever I wanted. But the subject would only do what they thought was OK to do. You canno tmake anyone do anything they don't want to do under hypnosis, despite what you see on stage shows.

I work as a clinical hypnotherapist, and although it is a very powerful way of transforming someones life, it is not mind control.

But to get into the spirit of the question….:

Go rob a bank and give me the money.
Go tell my old boss that he is a W*****r

If you are serious about doing this:

Allow their subconscious mind to pick 5 new things that would enhance their life, and that they will be gentley introduced into theirs when their subconscious mind deems it the right time.

This way you can allow them to change their own limiting beliefs, and empower them to take control of their lives. Its an extremely short explanation, but if you have no definate direction, allow them to make the changes they want.

I went to Vegas last week and saw a hypnotist show. Totally funny. I tried to find one of the volunteers to see how they describe the experience, but they left so fast (there was a post hypnotic suggestion that they go out on the town and search to tell people how good the show was and I guess it worked since the left so quickly!).

Anyone here been hypnotized by a stage hypnotist and was surprised by it in some way? Would you do it again?

I was in school but it didn't take well…my hubby was at a casino and it was hilarious! He said it was like a dream….only he was awake

How far back can hypnotism take a person?

Theoretically every single experience we have had is registerd somewhere in our brains..
The big question is "when does concsiousness begin."

The big problme is we are only conscious when we are able to understand the environment we are in.

Being in a womb is an enclosed space full with water and with some sounds and movement.

As we are not able to relate any of these events to anything or measure exactly what we are seeing/experiencing, then the chances are we cannot reacall them as they are of absolutely no sense.

Hypnotism helps people to "un tangle" their brains to be able to focus in on specific events/memories. The brain is generally in a very relaxed state.. To be able to go back to the experience in the womb and relive it you'd have to relax the brain to a very basic, vegitative state.. So even if you could go back there there would be no way you could remember it.

It would like asking a person what the unconscious state is like, for example when someone is going through surgery.. The brain does not even have the capacity to dream at this state.

I still love him, and he does not even want to be friends.

I would think that hypnosis might help you have a different reaction when you think about him, but I don't think it can block the thoughts altogether.
